Freezing rain Findings

My findings:

To simply save plants, and trees, put fabric or plastic over the plants or trees. Sometimes the fabric or plastic does not cover the entire plant, which means there is no insulation getting to the plant. To prevent the parts of the plant or tree that is not covered, place stakes under plastic to hold it up off of the foliage. To cover seedlings in the garden, place cardboard box, plastic container, blankets or heavy plastic over top and secure a tarp using bricks or heavy rocks.

I found this information on http://www.nola.com/homegarden/index.ssf/2014/01/how_to_protect_plants_from_fre.html  and I found out plenty of ideas to save plants. and trees. This answer helped me to reach my question and find an understanding of climate change.
