- Over the past 60 years temperatures have risen 1.4 degrees Celsius
-Over the next 60 years several reports say that the average temperature
will rise at least 2.6 degrees Celsius.
-The temperature increases will result in longer dry periods.
-The warmer temperatures get brings more pests, invasive species, weeds and diseases, which will have a big affect on crops.
-Several reposts say that we will see more heavy rainfall instead of light rainfall in the future.
-With more heavy rainfalls we will see a lot of flooded fields, which limits the amount of space farmers have for crops.
-With temperature increasing, the moisture content will decrease heavily, to the point where fields will dry out, causing either dried up soil or livestock starvation.
-More extreme weather events will happen more frequently; these weather events include heat- waves, droughts, heavy rainfalls, and flooding.
-These weather events mean that fields will experience little rainfall, flooding and droughts.
-These weather events are not at all healthy for soil.
-This will result in lower crop production.
-Climate change will have a very big affect on crops, we need to put a stop to releasing greenhouse gasses into our world.
