Impact on Local Wildlife

My inquiry is that animal populations in Ontario, have been increasing or decreasing due to the fact that climate change has disrupted the natural order of reproduction. Since climate change has disturbed the migratory and hibernation patterns of animals, and has resulted with the animals waking up or arriving to early and finding that there is no food available. Climate change has also destroyed their natural habitats due to higher temperatures and increase in percipitation, as the higher temperatures can lead to forest fires and the increase percipitation has resulted in flooding of ponds, lakes, and rivers. For example the Northern Boreal Forests, has had forest fires escalate from one-million hectares to three-million hectares in the last decade, the outcome being that more animals lose their habitats and food sources due to these forest fires. Another example being the Songbirds, as they migrate at a much earlier rate than normal and have trouble feeding their young as a result as there are not many food sources available, and hen they return to Toronto their main food source, Caterpillars, have already went through metamorphisis due to the warmer weather. To help stop these problems we can begin to charge people for littering, so that we can encourage people not to litter.
