How has the "fast fashion" industry affected climate change and what can we do about it?

First of all, I did my research about fast fashion industry and in our class we watched and discussed the film named "The True Cost" which give me some idea how has the fast fashion industry affected our environment.

Fast fashion clothes are manufacturing inorganic materials. It uses chemical which require a large amounts of nasty products which get into the water and the remaining wasted clothes ends up hanging out in landfills which pollutes the ground and the water. Like when we buy clothes that we like and we didn't use it or wear it and we just easily disposed them or throw them in the garbage which ends up in our landfills. We did not know how much is this fast fashion industry affecting our environment, NOT ONLY our environment but also in our health because they used a lot of chemicals.

There are many ways we can do about it by buy clothes if necessary, donate some clothes that you don't wear casually which stay in your closet for a long time ,etc.
