How much textile wastes end up in landfills by Zamaera, tempest, emely and elizabeth

Did you know that only 15% of clothing that is donated is actually recycled. in america, more than 10.5 million tons of clothing and textiles are being dumped into landfills which gives textiles one of the poorest recycling rates of any reusable materials.  textiles may only take up 4% of landfills but in one year it can be built up to be three times taller and wider than the Skydome. Due to the landfills, CO2, gas and methane and everytime a new textile is added it releases dangerous chemicals into the air.
