What do cities do to recycle their textiles?

TEXAID is the leading organization for the ecological collection,sorting and recycling of used textile company in Switzerland.TEXAID collected in Switzerland and Germany about 80,000 tonnes of used textiles every year,about half of it in Switzerland.They are offering fair high-quality for fair prices for used textiles into raw-materials for new uses.First they collect it from different communities,organizations,companies,containers and also private individuals,in this TEXAID achieves an above-average second-hand value of up to 65 percent.Left-over stock are sold on to dealers in surplus items or outlets,heavily damaged cotton or cotton mixed fabric items can be made into cleaning cloths,only 5 percent of the used textiles are incinerated, being used to generate heat and power.
