Our inquiry question is "How is Climate Change Affecting the FNIM of Modern Day Canada." We focused on the Mohawk group of the Bay of Quinte due to their close location to Prince Edward County. We began the process with researching Mohawk representatives we could come in contact with, as with a topic like this, personal information is one of the best ways to go. Whilst we were waiting for replies, we focused most of our attention on www.mbq-tmt.org/ and http://www.mohawkcommunity.com/. We were able to get a hold of a couple people from the Mohawk community, and with their information and what we gathered from the previously noted websites, we were able to further our research and head in the right direction. This is a great question because it can be easily overlooked, as unless you know someone from the FNIM community, you don't really think about how climate change may be affecting them. It is also eye opening when you take the time to research and realize how important their traditions are when it comes to nature. They are a very inspiring people.

Interviews are a great research method. Were you surprised at all by what they told you?
