The effects of climate change towards our health and economy

Environment   Apr 5, 2016 by Jordon Serson

I believe that our summers and springs are getting warmer this will effect our economy because of the cost of cooling of our homes, it will effect our health because it gives higher risk for heat stroke and heat related deseases. It will also effect the crops that we grow that the crops we currently have will not be suitable for our climate, we will have to bring new foods in to support our ecosystems.

Question: What crops will we have to bring into our ecosystems to support our needs by 2050?

Jordan - you're missing questions, research answers, and your contact to an expert with their response. Please tell me in person when you have updated this info so I can reevaluate your blog!

Will we simply be able to import crops from other areas instead? Or perhaps a better question would be how will climate change impact areas that we import our food from currently, such as the drought in California which has impacted tomatoes, strawberries, cauliflower, almonds etc....

Setting a target date like 2050 focuses your question. We can not just be looking at quick fixes. It is going to take time.
