This past winter, 2015-2016, winter started later then usual; had less snowfall and experienced a thunderstorm during the winter season. Warmer weather threatens to shorten winter and decrease snowfall. With lower amounts of snowfall and increased amounts of precipitation Eastern Ontario could experience a higher rate of flooding during beginning of coming years: the trend with wet and dry places is that with this currently climate change, wet places are getting wetter and dry places are getting drier.

Doesn't lower amounts of snowfall mean less flooding?
How do you think this will affect life in your region and what are we able to do to help try to prevent that?
