Effects of Extreme Heat

Extreme heat and dry conditions in parts of Central and Eastern Ontario  have also led to a surge in forest fires, limits on water use, and concerns about farmer crops. Fire bans last longer in areas, usually spanning for the length of time being one, to two months at a time.
