Hypothesis
Hypothesis: Climate change will have a positive impact on business and people in town of Gananoque. Recognizing that climate change can adversely affect the world in negative ways, I hypothesis that the rising temperatures can also have a positive effect in communities such as as mine located on Lake Ontario. With the increase in temperatures, my town and others along the seaway may become an attractive tourist destinations for those located in urban centers looking for the water and natural beauty Ganaoque can provide. I also hypothesis that the rising temperatures will provide local farmers with longer a growing season so they can maximize their profit and crop potentials. The increase in tourist dollars will have a direct impact on the quality of life for Gananoque residents.
