Freezing Rain
- Will there be school in summer if the buses are cancelled too much because of freezing rain?

How else could you dig into school days, or the link between inclement weather and education? Is there a maximum of days in place? Would school be extended or exams cancelled? What are possible solutions to too many ice days beyond teh ones you've suggested of using chains? Are the heat/energy systems realistic for use in rural areas? Most of Canada is after-all rural.
