Climate Change and Heath in Toronto

Health   Apr 15, 2016 by Amanda Ma

It is evident that climate change is a reality. It is already having impact on our weather patterns. However, the changing climate is also impacting our health and it has been for quite some time now. Climate change is directly and indirectly affecting people with conditions like asthma, airway diseases and respiratory allergies, as well as cardiovascular diseases and many more. It is important to know that these conditions are worsening and are expected to keep intensifying if we dont do something now.

Did you know, Ontario is the second to highest for total emissions of greenhouse gases? Together, we need to focus on reducing the amount of GHGs that Ontario produces by using clean energy sources.
