Our inquiry question concerned local food production. This is a good question because local food is a major concern on the Island. We do mat have nearly as many local farms that we potentially could. This is partially because it is difficult to get certification to sell your products, as well as Otis expensive for the consumer. If we could find solutions to these issues the amount of C02 produced on the Island through the transportation of food would be tremendously reduced!
