To sum up our findings:

-The number of farms in ontario is about 51'000, and this number has decreased in the last decade

-1 in every 9 jobs are associated with the agricultural sector

-Only 4.35% of farms in Ontario are in Northern Ontario

-Grains alone are responsible for $9 Billion in economic output, and are responsible for 40'000 jobs in Ontario

-5 Million Acres of farmland grow grains

-Manitoulin Island produces $26 Million, and the Sudbury area produces $42.3 million in agriculture yearly

-The most common type of farming in Northern Ontario is Beef Farming
