How might the consumers resolve climate change in regards to their Transportation and Infrastructure use?
My question for climate change in Toronto was “How might the consumers resolve climate change in regards to their Transportation and Infrastructure use?”. While thinking of an inquiry question about this topic, I came across questions about Climate change and its relation to transportation & Infrastructure. I already had the knowledge of how they’re both connected in Toronto, but what really intrigued me was to find out what the people can do to help the situation of climate change in terms of transportation and Infrastructure. Can they reduce shower times? Can they switch their cars? Can they sacrifice their heat? I wanted to know what the people can literally do to make a change in the world, instead of waiting for the scientists and government to make the change for us. In result, I decided to ask a question which asks about the consumer's contribution to resolving climate change instead of the higher up power. I feel that this was a great question because many people ask what the scientists and government can do to resolve transportation pollution and advancing technology, but no one ever cares to know what they can do themselves, to help resolve climate change. The people must take the initiative first before there is even going to be the slightest bit of change in the world.

I agree with you on that the change has to happen on a micro level (individuals) before it can happen on a macro level (the government). We have to lead the change we want to see in the world and it all begins with you and I.
Hey Shamare!
Great work- this is what we are all about here @ GreenLearning: taking concrete actions in our households/schools/communities to stop climate change.
Have you had the chance to try out our Greenhouse Gas Calculator yet? If not, here's the link: http://www.greenlearning.ca/ghgcalculator/index.ph...
Let's make a difference with this project and change the future of Canada! :)
