Our group chose to research how climate change was effecting wineries and maple syrup, as we all live in Wellington and there are over 50 wineries and a couple sugar shacks. We decided that our question would be How climate change is effecting wineries and maple syrup in Prince Edward County? We thought this would be a good question to ask as it covers most of what we were deciding to research about our topic. Also it was a general question and with this way we could broaden our research to a larger scale. This question was also good because all of the people personally knew someone in one of these industries and could get some important information to help our research. As we were researching this question we found out some interesting facts facts about how different types of weather affect different types of grapes and also how maple syrup was effecting the climate as well as the climate effecting the maple syrup. Overall this question helped us to get a better understanding of our topic and made this Inquiry project that much more interesting.
