In the near future our climate will get warmer. That will cause drought to occur which will wipe out our crops (corn, wheat). Gas prices will go up because we won't have corn to make ethanol. Companies will charge more to ship us food which means we will have less spending money because gas prices will be so high, as well as our local grocery store prices.
Questions:
If drought occurs how could that lead to food prices going up?
Why could this lead to gas prices going up?
Could this lead to another depression?
Are we already beginning to prepare for this happening? (are we stocking up on corn, wheat?)
