how is gardening affected by climate change?

after some research i have discovered that the effects of climate change on gardening are both positive and negative. the increase in temperature and precipitation means a longer season, hence more crop, as well as healthier plants. the downsides are more pests, weeds, and disease that need to be controlled.  most of the necessary information was found on local sites, such as the mississippi valley conservation authority or using government data. overall gardening is not an activity that is in danger due to climate change but is something that will require more upkeep in the future.
