Ontario's Apples

Environment   Apr 11, 2016 by Kathleen Soule

About 85% of the Ontario apple crops were lost this Fall because of the mild weather, late killing frosts, and warm spring weather, Harvest Ontario reports. Also, 20% to 30% of Ontario's tender fruit, such as peaches and berries were wiped out! (https://this.org/2012/09/11/climate-change-upsets-the-apple-cart/) . Now that we actually see change, more people will take charge. Some solutions could include building sanctuaries designed to grow and harvest specific foods, such as apples.
