Many people know about the ongoing effects of climate change, for example, the floods and destruction, but there are many little ways that we can do to help prevent climate change from continuing. The main thing that we can do is becoming more involved in the community. For example, there are many petitions to help prevent climate change involving carbon emission pricing that need support. We can even start with smaller things like turning off the lights when you leave a room or walking instead of using a car. Some people even buy solar panels to acquire energy. Many more people are starting to install solar panels and we should continue to take their example. How will our community change in respect to using more solar energy?

Not all the people can afford solar panels, and not all the time they give it for free. Right? But what if the programs that is providing free solar panels doesn't have enough fund? Don't take it the negative way. I'm just curious.
To make our community use sustainable and renewable energy resources, we have to do more than just educate them of the better alternatives such as investing in solar panels for electricity. Solar panels are expensive, and they should be more available to the public to encourage a cleaner way of using electricity. If possible, maybe we can lower the price of this resource to increase its availability to them since it would be much more affordable to invest in.
We can ask the government to provide some discount or funding for the cost of solar panels to make them more available to homes all over Toronto.
Solar panels are expensive, but there are programs that will provide them for free. (see blog #2 for more information)
