Kilmarnock Orchard is located at 1182 Kilmarnock Road in Jasper, ON. It has been owned and operated by the Belot Family since 1981 and they have put a lot of effort in since then to expand and transform the orchard. They grow over 20 varieties of apple trees covering 15 acres, some varieties include: McIntosh, Lobo, Cortland, Sweet 16, Cox Orange Pippin, Red Max, Greening, and Empire. The owners have opened the orchard for birthday parties, weddings and other social events as well as tractor drawn wagons to transport people during the pick-your-own season. Visitors are also invited to book a fun, educational tour, experience cider pressing, taste the fruits of our labour with local chefs, or enjoy a cup of cider with their Island Apple pies. This orchard is a great family run operation and climate change has taken its toll over the last few years. In the past years the orchard has been unable to open to the public because there was nothing to show. The frost had damaged the trees and little apples were produced. If we want to prevent local apple orchards becoming scarce we must stop climate change!
