Climate-smart agriculture achieves near-term productivity and food security, longer-term resilience and adaption, and reductions in emissions across landscapes, agriculture, and food systems. Tanzania is working to put climate-smart agricultural practices into place. The maize diamond is expected to grow by 16 million tons. To help this problem Tanzania is developing inclusive multistakeholder growth models. In order for us to have universal food security it will take a lot of cooperation. 100 governments, organizations and companies have committed to joining the new Global Allience for Climate-Smart Agriculture.
