Our inquiry question is concerning our local food production. This is a good question for this project because, it is a large concern on Manitoulin Island. We have a fair amount of local farms and production, but the problem is it is hard to get certified to cell your product, and on top of that it is expensive for the consumer to buy. If we can find a way to improve the availability of certification, as well as reduce the cost of local products, we could tremendously imporove the amount of C02 the island produces through food transportation.
