Electricity Production

Environment   Apr 28, 2016 by Scott Nadin

There are many ways to improve electricity production. Right now, the majority of Canadians use non-renewable energy for their home, work, or any other place. We can improve electricity production is by switching to renewable energy. If we switch to renewable energy, then we will lower our dependence on fuels, such as oil, gas, coal or nuclear. For example, each of these non-renewable energy sources use a lot of carbon dioxide (CO2). If we use renewable energy, such as solar, wind, ocean, etc., then it will have a very low chance of affecting global warming. Changing to renewable energy is a way to make electricity production better. Another way to improve electricity production is by making renewable energy more environmentally friendly. For example, if we made solar panels smaller and able to take in more energy, then we wouldn't have to use as many solar panels to make the same amount of electricity. By doing this, it would make more space for nature, and it would interest people to use more renewable options. Using less non-renewable energy makes electricity production better. If we can do both of these ideas, then it will help improve electricity production.
