Freezing rain Question

Question:

Freezing rain often affects the ground more than anything else, how are ways that we could save all the plants and trees that were planted in the ground?

Answer:

We have had a lot of freezing rain this year and I imagine it affects the ground more than anything, so I thought of looking into ways to save the trees and plants in our community. We had a major ice storm in 1998 and if you look at some of the trees in our town, you can see that the trees were wrecked from that storm......this is why I decieded to look more into freezing rain and how we could save the plants and trees.

Very interesting question. I never really thought about how freezing rain would effect the plants on our earth so I am interested to learn more

What adverse effects does freezing rain have on crops?

It would be too cold for it to function and you usually harvest your crops in the Fall so you wouldnt have to worry about the freezing rain.
